However, little is known about the precise methods of leadership in Pakistan, particularly in the rural setting of Sindh. An investigation on the function of school leadership in promoting school-based professional development for teachers in a private school in the District of Sukkur was undertaken as part of a qualitative case study to fill this gap. The school principal's semi-structured interview served as the source of the data, which was then thematically analyzed. The results indicate that the function of the school principal in encouraging school-based teacher professional development is quite little. Leaders must use democratic and participatory leadership approaches to enable these developmental possibilities. However, it was discovered that the researched school's headmaster was authoritarian and dictated and controlled a lot of the practices, routines, and activities. It is advised that school leaders be educated about the value and potential of such development in order to increase the facilitation of school-based professional development opportunities for teachers. Leaders may more effectively encourage and promote the development of their teachers' careers by embracing democratic and participatory leadership methods.
2023-06-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://brjhss.com/index.php/brjhss/article/view/41 EDUCATION AS A SOCIAL AGENT OF CULTURE CHANGE: LITERATURE REVIEW 2023-08-11T12:43:14+00:00 Muhammad Imran, Zehara Sultana, Zakia Gafoor Jat aaa@asd.com
Education play a vital role as a changing agent or tool of culture transformation and community development is broadly recognized always. This study examines how social media helps people learn about politics outside of school. Talking with other people on social media is different from doing things that are not directly political. This study is a cross-sectional survey of first-year college students from Pakistan's Sindh's five biggest campuses. Nine hundred seventy-seven students completed questionnaires in total. The results show that students can learn about politics through political discussion on social media networks. The more students talk about politics on social media, the better they understand politics. Since social media activities don't involve users, they only do little to raise political awareness. This study shows that students learn more about politics when they talk about it with their peers than when they only use social media. For people to understand politics through social media, they need to talk about politics. Students' political awareness also depends on their gender, age, and how much money they have. The results are essential for platform-specific research to determine how social media activities affect each platform based on how it works.
2023-06-30T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 https://brjhss.com/index.php/brjhss/article/view/43 THE IMPLICATION OF THE CONSTRUCTIVISM THEORY OF IR ON PAKISTAN AS MAIN NUCLEAR POWER STATE OF SOUTH ASIA. 2023-08-11T12:43:15+00:00 NISAR AHMED CHANDIO aaa@asd.com
The purpose of this study is to see if a constructivist theory can be utilized to analyze Pakistani behavior in the context of Indo-Pakistani relations.
